Thief and Bandit

Love these braided jersey accessories! Thief and Bandit is Etsy's featured seller right now...
What a good choice! She prints the fabrics, then cuts em up to create these pretty braided bracelets, necklaces, headbands, and more! I love her color combos and her images are quite nice! Check her out...

Love Shoot by Amorology (Wedding Photos and Nostalgia)

Wow, this is really insanely amazing! I found these photos HERE, and I am really really inspired! I love the idea of using the little vintage hankies for bunting too, I may do that at my next craft fair.
I cannot begin to understand the skills of this photographer and stylist, because they have quite an amazing relationship. Everything is SO beautiful, I cannot get over it!!!

Hand Painted Pots by SchwidleShop

These absolutely modern and adorable pots deserve to be gracing Better Homes & Gardens or Martha's Real Simple Magazine. There are so many different ways to paint terra cotta pots, but many are kind of on the country-crafty side of the spectrum. Now, these images take them to the next level!
maybe it's the modern, cute colors, or maybe it's the graphic nature of the designs, but these are second to none!! Please check out SchwidleShop on Etsy, and see the whole line for yourself!

Burp Cloths!!

I love using funky, modern, bright fabrics for baby items, which you wouldn't maybe normally think of. I do have a soft spot in my heart for those beautiful baby prints, mostly the vintage reproduction ones though. I know on Etsy, there are several successful sellers who focus mainly on the burpies and similar items. Here are just a few. If you have never made these before, they are super easy!! You can repurpose towels for the back sides, you can also use chenille or flannel on one side, and you can of course, always embellish pre-existing cloth diapers. If the diapers have some small stains on them, you could always dye them a cute color with non-toxic dyes.
This is a great gift idea too! They can even be used by adults to clean with!! Body or Home :) Please visit Ragadoos HERE, and Laundry Monster HERE...

More Things to LOVE : Altered Canvases by Laura Amiss

Today I found these amazingly wonderful canvases by Laura Amiss. They feature such lovely scenes as gals in the rain, and the cycle of a girl holding a dreamy floral, vintage purse! She is such an amazing Artist she inspired me to get back to this blog for 2010! On these canvases, it appears that she stretches her own canvases, then covers them with one layer of white muslin and the leg materials, then, she covers that over with a more sheer material, appliques the bodies. Then, she probably goes in with felt and top layers of cotton and details out the dresses and the hair/accessories like purses ad umbrellas. Lastly, she uses free-hand embroidery to stitch on the shadows and other detailing!
I LOVE this artist! And I hope you find her as unique as I do! Only a true artist can do work like this.

Attache Cases by Sketchbook

I really cannot believe that I just now found this magnificent Etsy Seller, Sketchbook.
They create handsewn bags from wool (felt maybe). Their bags are super super durable looking, and just plain beautiful all around!!

Their gray wool attache case is one of my faves. I love their subtle use of leather next to the wool too! See their shop today!! (CLICK HERE)
